Exhibitions  –  Opening 5th December

  “Christmas Nostalgia”

A new display at the Morrinsville Museum with a gratitude twist  and a very joyful surprise for our visitors.

With all that we have faced this year due to the global pandemic, with its mental health challenges, gratitude is one of the most important and empowering emotions we can have.  At the museum we want to challenge the current narrative and develop a parallel story through an activity for our Morrinsville community that will be a testimony of the resilience of our people that can inspire people in the future.

Our question for reflection : 2020 What are you grateful for?

People are invited either to visit our Museum and respond to this question in person or login to our Facebook Page and post a message of gratitude.

Some responses will be posted on a huge Christmas tree on the window of the Museum for all to see.
